If your a
user of Standard AutoCAD you can now read and register geo- referenced
Collarless Geo Topographic Maps and
Digital Orthophoto Quarter Quadrangles (DOQQs) files
with the aide of
Real Topo Software
from
Follow these
simple steps:
1) Copy
the FREE RealTopo program to your AutoCAD support
directory.
(Right Click - Save
Target As)
RealTopo Program for
AutoCAD 2000
RealTopo Program for
AutoCAD v14
2)
Go to the Gecko Software
to select and
order your
individual Collarless Topographic Map Quad or DOQQ.
(requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or
greater)
3)
During checkout select your required projection:
Users
can select UTM, State Plane or Latitude / Longitude
projections
4) Add in your Credit Card Information
Users can use either American Express, Visa, Master Card or
Discover
5) You
will receive an e-mail with downloading instructions.
Users will receive an e-mail within minutes for Topographic
Maps and
within 24 Hours for Digital Orthophoto Quarter
Quadrangles (DOQQs).
6)
When downloading your files you will receive:
A
geo-referenced Tiff file.
A "twx" world file specifically formatted for Real
Topo.
A standard ".tfw" ESRI world file.
A standard ".tab" MapInfo world file.
7)
In AutoCAD, you will need to perform an AppLOAD to load in
RealTopo.
Go to Tools menu and select Load Application.
Select the RealTopo.vlx file.
Next, simply follow the RealTopo instructions.
