BoonDocker Import GeoCache Files

Import Geocaching ".loc" and ".gpx" files and convert to WayPoints.  WayPoints are appended to the current set or new set.

Geocaching files are obtained from the Geocaching.com web site, The Official Global GPS Cache Hunt Site.  Files can be placed either in the phone memory or the storage card for importing. 

Once imported the WayPoints will have the geocach symbol assigned, and the geocaching label and description from the file.
 

The ".gpx" imported files will also include a BoonDocker generated ".html" file that will include all the geocaching notes.  The file can be view by displaying the link option in the Edit WayPoint dialog.  The ".html" file is stored in the WayPoints Directory.

Once imported the new WayPoints can then be saved as a set.

File Type

Use can select either ".loc" or ".gpx" Geocaching files to import.

Import Directory

The user selects the Directory location of the  ".loc" or ".gpx" Geocaching files.  The Directory list starts at the top directory structure of the phone.

The user Clicks the UpDir button move up the directory structure.

Delete Import Files after Import

If Checked the ".loc" or ".gpx" Geocaching files in the selected directory are deleted after they are imported.

Import Progress

The Import Progress Bar will show the progress of the imported files.  A conformation message is displayed once completed.

Menu Buttons

Press Menu Buttons along bottom of Dialog to initiate selected option.

OK	Saves current settings of the dialog then Exits.
Cancel	Cancels the current settings reverting to setting prior to loading the dialog then Exits.
?	Initiate Help for the current dialog.
Import	Initiate the import process on the selected directory and file type.
